PASTORS
Derick Terry, Senior Pastor
Dunnville is not only my home but also my family. I am a direct result of the ministry and influence of DCC. Being the current Senior Pastor of DCC is one of the greatest experiences of my life. I pray daily that I am able to be used by God to accomplish His will and work in the lives of the people at DCC and in our surrounding community. I enjoy the responsibility of challenging and motivating people to live beyond themselves in full dependence of God. As a ministry team, we have the ability to love and serve people in a way that will change their lives forever.

Matt Loper, Executive Pastor
I’ve been part of Dunnville Christian Church for over 20 years and currently serve as Executive Pastor. My role involves supporting our staff, overseeing ministry operations, and helping shape the vision and direction of the church as we continue to grow and serve our community. I’m passionate about building strong teams, investing in the next generation, and making sure everything we do points people to Jesus. Outside of ministry, I enjoy coaching youth baseball, working on our family farm, road-tripping with my wife Heather, and cheering on our son at the ball field. I’m grateful to serve a church that truly lives out the mission of loving God, loving people, and making disciples.

ELDERS
Greg Neat, Elder
I have visited many churches through invites and travel through the years, and there is no place like DCC! Being the an elder can be a burden, but our two pastors inspire me!

Chad Davenport, Elder
For a guy who normally tries to stay below the radar and be as unnoticeable as possible, it's out of character to be the first/last person a lot of people see on Sunday mornings! I'm inspired by the hope that I make everyone feel welcome, safe and at home free of judgmental looks or scorning stares.

MINISTRY DIRECTORS
Heather Loper, Preschool Ministry & DCELC Director
Through the years I have been given the name "Baby Whisperer." Many say that it's because I know what is going on with kids, especially the little people I work with. I don't see it that way. Jesus says to have "child like faith!" I got that down. I don't wanna grow up! I love kids and teaching them about the Bible!

Kyra Cain, Children's Ministry Director
I am truly excited and grateful for the opportunity to connect with the children and families here at Dunnville Christian Church. God has given me a deep love for both children and ministry, and it’s a joy to be able to bring those passions together in a meaningful way.

My heart is to invest in the next generation by helping create a fun, welcoming, and faith-filled environment where children can learn about Jesus, grow spiritually, and feel excited to return each week. I want every child who walks through our doors to know they are loved, valued, and seen.
I am encouraged by all that God is doing in and through our youth and families at DCC, and I feel truly blessed to be part of His work here.
Dalton Richards, Student Ministry Director
I’m a proud father of two amazing girls and husband to Christy, a woman whose grace and patience feel almost angelic. As Youth Director, my heart is to create a safe, welcoming, and fun environment where students can explore and grow in their relationship with Jesus.
Having grown up in Dunnville, I know how limited the options can be for young people here. That’s why my goal is simple: to be present for our youth, to give them a place to have fun, learn about Jesus, be heard when they need someone to listen, and receive guidance when life gets challenging.

I truly believe that the youth of our community deserve a space where they feel valued, encouraged, and inspired—and I feel blessed to walk alongside them on that journey.
Chase and Hallie Williams, Worship Director and Guest Services Director
Chase grew up attending Dunnville Christian Church, and Hallie grew up at West Side Christian Church in Liberty. Over the past few years, we’ve been grateful to serve together as part of the Dunnville Christian Church family. Chase serves as the Worship Director, and Hallie serves as the Guest Services Director.
It’s a blessing for us to serve in a church that is loving, welcoming, and focused on helping people connect with God and one another. Through worship and hospitality, our shared heart is to create an environment where people can engage fully—whether that’s through meaningful worship or feeling at home from the moment they walk through the doors. Whether someone is visiting for the first time or has been part of DCC for years, our desire is that everyone feels seen, valued, and connected.

Tara Weddle, Missions Director
I am dedicated to missions because missions has saved my life and forever altered the course I travel. Loving God and sharing that love with people all around the world sets my heart on fire. My hope is to help ignite hearts all over the world and fan the embers so they may burn bright for Christ.

Dalton Upchurch, Social Media and Visual Production Director
I’m a filmmaker at heart who believes in presence over perfection and the power of honest storytelling. I’m drawn to the quiet, meaningful moments that reveal who people truly are and what God is doing beneath the surface.
That same heart shapes how I serve our church — using visual storytelling to reflect the authenticity, beauty, and community God is building here, so people don’t just see content, but experience the heart behind it.

Marcus Richards, I.T. and Technical Security Director
I’m passionate about using technology to support meaningful worship and ministry. Whether it’s what’s seen on a screen, heard through a speaker, or happening behind the scenes, my goal is to create reliable, secure systems that allow our pastors and ministry teams to lead with confidence—and our church family to engage fully in worship.

Alex Rexroat, Podcasts and Audio Production Director
I love music, writing, and creating things that connect with people. Whether I’m producing audio, working on a podcast, or collaborating with artists, I enjoy helping ideas take shape and sound the way they were meant to be heard.
My goal is simple: I want people to love what they hear. From sermons to songs to conversations, I care deeply about the details so the message comes through clearly and creatively. If it sounds good and helps tell the story well, I’m all in.

Sharlet Salyers, Food Pantry Director
I truly love the people we serve through our food pantry. Getting to see them each month, check in with them, and care for them means so much to me. My heart is to make sure no one feels overlooked and that their needs are met with kindness and dignity.
I also love working alongside the many volunteers from all over Casey County who help make this ministry possible. It’s a blessing to serve together and be part of something that provides food, care, and hope to those who need it most.
