Examining the story of Mary and Joseph, we are able to see the tension between the ideal family we hope for and the real family we live with. We learn how Joseph nearly walked away from a messy situation until God stepped in and revealed a bigger plan. Joseph chose trust over fear and refused to miss out on the family God was forming. This message calls us to do the same—accept what’s real, celebrate what’s ideal, and follow Jesus into healthier relationships.
